Risk Disclosure

Please read this in full before opening an account or granting trading authority. It is written to be understood, not to be skimmed past.

Trading leveraged instruments can cost you your entire deposit

Foreign exchange and gold are traded on margin. Leverage magnifies gains and losses equally. It is entirely possible to lose all of the money in your trading account, and you should only commit capital you can afford to lose without affecting your standard of living.

1. No guaranteed returns

mWealth does not offer, promise or imply any fixed, minimum or guaranteed rate of return under any of its services. No employee, representative or introducer is authorised to make such a promise on our behalf. If you are told that a return is assured, that statement is unauthorised and untrue — please report it to us at support@mwealth.world.

2. Past performance means little

Any historical result, chart, illustration or client testimonial shown on this website describes what happened in the past under particular market conditions. It is not a projection, a forecast or a reliable indicator of future results. Markets change, and a strategy that performed well in one regime can lose money in another.

3. Market risk

Prices in the foreign exchange and precious metals markets can move sharply and without warning in response to economic data, central bank decisions, geopolitical events and shifts in liquidity. Movements can occur outside the hours you are watching and can gap through price levels, meaning a stop loss may be filled at a materially worse price than the level at which it was set.

4. Leverage risk

Margin trading allows a position much larger than your deposit. A small adverse movement in the underlying price can therefore produce a large loss relative to your account. If your account equity falls below the broker's margin requirement, positions may be closed automatically without further notice to you, crystallising the loss.

5. Manager and strategy risk

Where you grant trading authority to mWealth, the decisions taken by our traders or our automated systems will affect the value of your account. Those decisions may prove wrong. A losing period is a normal and expected feature of trading, not evidence of a failure of process, and there will be months in which your account balance falls.

6. Technology and execution risk

Automated systems depend on connectivity, platform availability and broker infrastructure. Outages, latency, requotes and slippage can affect execution and results. Under fast market conditions, orders may be filled at prices significantly different from those requested.

7. Counterparty and custody risk

Your funds are held by a third-party broker, not by mWealth. While we select partners on the basis of regulatory standing and segregation of client money, no arrangement removes counterparty risk entirely. The failure or misconduct of a broker could affect your ability to access your funds. This risk exists across the industry and you should take it into account when deciding how much capital to place at any single venue.

8. Currency risk

If your account is denominated in a currency other than the one in which you ordinarily hold money, exchange-rate movements will affect the value of your balance and your withdrawals independently of trading performance.

9. No investment advice

Nothing on this website, in our market commentary, or in conversation with our staff constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. Information is provided for general purposes only and does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should seek independent advice if you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you.

10. Tax

The tax treatment of trading profits depends on your individual circumstances and the jurisdiction in which you are resident, and may change. mWealth does not provide tax advice. You are responsible for determining and meeting your own tax obligations.

11. Suitability

These services are not suitable for everyone. They are not appropriate if you cannot afford to lose the capital committed, if you would need to withdraw the money at short notice regardless of market conditions, if you are relying on trading profits to meet essential living costs, or if you are borrowing in order to trade. In any of those situations we would encourage you not to proceed, and we may decline to act for you.

12. Fraud awareness

mWealth will never ask you to transfer funds to a personal account, a company account, or a cryptocurrency wallet. All deposits go directly to a broker account registered in your own name. If anyone using our name asks you to do otherwise, do not comply and contact us immediately.
